Radio

BBC Radio Berkshire are the current radio rights holders and during the 2011/12 season they broadcast every minute of live football via 104.1 & 104.4FM. Coverage usually gets underway from 1pm for a 3pm Saturday kick-off and 7pm on a midweek game. Coverage is anchored by Ady Williams with former Reading manager Mick Gooding joining the BBC’s Tim Dellor in the commentary box.

There is also Weekend Kick-Off every Friday night at 7pm that looks forward to the weekend’s game and usually includes interviews with Royals past and present.

Nationally games can be found on occassion on BBC Radio 5 Live and it’s sister station BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra, while Talk Sport also broadcast a number of live Premier League Games.

Television

With Reading’s ascent into the Premier League we’ll now have regular coverage via Sky Sports and ESPN. Details of live games will be added here when they are known.

Exact highlights schedules are also to be determined but there’s a fairly famous BBC programme called Match Of The Day we’ll be on…

Internet

Currently you can’t listen to BBC Berkshire’s live commentary via Iplayer or on their website due to broadcasting restrictions. You can however sign up to Reading player, who host the BBC’s commentary.

Highlights are also available via the ESPN Goals app, while Yahoo! are the official internet highlights rights holders for the Premier League.

Sky Go is also an app that lets you watch Sky Sports live coverage while out and about.

We’re not naive to the fact that there are also certain sites and programmes that offer streams of live games that are not on TV, but as these are illegal and there is a zero tolerance policy on posting these links on The Tilehurst End. If you do so in match threads they will be removed immediately, we’re a small website that doesn’t need a lawsuit on our hands.
